Biography

Noah Katsell helps clients navigate their highest-stakes disputes with clarity, precision, and a craftsman's care.

For twenty-five years, he has approached his work the way a Takumi approaches the workbench: with precision, patience and an unwavering devotion to the craft itself. That mission has guided him through the disputes that define his clients' futures — complex commercial litigation, securities matters, government enforcement actions, and the high-stakes investigations brought by public and private companies, boards, and executives who need more than a lawyer.  They need a Takumi.

As a former athlete and professional sports franchise owner, Noah has also spent meaningful time inside the sports industry — assisting with team operations, drafting and negotiating player contracts, sponsorship agreements, and working with professional leagues. He has joined a lifelong passion with seasoned professional ability to serve clients where the game meets the boardroom.

His method follows from the mission. Before strategy comes understanding — of the client's business, its values, the people who built it. Each matter is taken up by hand, attended to in its particulars, and finished efficiently and with care.

Before founding Takumi with Robert, Noah was a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP and DLA Piper LLP. At DLA, Noah served as Head of the San Diego Litigation Group, and on the National Partner Selection Committee.
